Mattijs van Bergen is an innovative colourist. His designs are defined by his fresh play in luxury with collaging high quality fabrics and merging this with creative craftsmanship. A mix of textures, materials and prints are the base of every collection. Curvaceous tailoring and sculptural use of pleats are essential aspects of his signature style.
Paper Miffy
Of his Paper Miffy, he says: ‘I see Miffy as a fragile icon so I wanted to wrap her up. What better to wrap her in than my trademark look, created with fine paper pleats.’
